Prisoners Affairs Authority: 9500 detainees in Israeli occupation prisons until the beginning of March – the seventh day

The Prisoners and Editors Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Club said that the number of detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons is more than 9500 until the beginning of March.

The authority and the club indicated, in a statement today, Wednesday, that the number of children detained is more than (350), women (21), and the administrators (3405), and the number of Gaza detainees who have been recognized by the occupation prisons administration (1555), knowing that this data does not include all Gaza detainees, specifically those in the camps of the occupation army.

It is noteworthy that the total number of detainees in the occupation prisons before the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023 was more than (5250), and the number of detainees (40), while the number of children in prisons (170), and the administrators about (1320).

In a related context, this morning, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces notified the demolition of 17 houses in Nour Shams camp, east of the city of Tulkarm, to reach the total of the houses that were demolished and will be demolished to 28.

The head of the People’s Committee for Services of Nour Shams Nihad Al -Shawish camp said that the occupation forces intend to demolish these homes in the Mansheya neighborhood, under the pretext of splitting a new road, and changing the camp features and geographical nature, at the expense of dozens of homes built for many years, explaining that the occupation gave families from 11 to one and a half in the afternoon, to go to the camp and evacuate them, indicating that this measure came in order to complete the demolition plan 11, It was carried out by the occupation a few days ago in the camp, extending from the camp of the camp square, and to the Mansheya neighborhood.

Nour Shams camp has been witnessing an ongoing escalation since the occupation’s aggression began 25 days ago, as the occupation forces carry out repeated raids of homes, after the bombing of its doors and the expulsion of its residents from them under the threat of weapons, and turns them into military barracks.

The camp was also exposed to wide and complete destruction of infrastructure and property from homes and commercial stores that were demolished, bombed and burned, which exacerbated the suffering of the citizens who remained in their homes, under a strict siege, and a lack of basic materials of food, water, medicine and infant formula.

In another context, the Israeli occupation forces raided today, Wednesday, the office of the “Fatah” movement, Tulkarm region, in the city center, and wreaked in its contents to ruin.

Iyad Jarad, the secretary of “Fatah”, told a correspondent in a statement, that the occupation raided the headquarters after the bombing of its main gate, and searched it, tampered with its contents and sabotage, and delivered the files, pictures of the martyrs, the Palestinian flag and the banners of the movement on the ground.

He added, that this attack is not new to the occupation, which wreaks corruption and destruction on our land, and escalates its aggression against the city, its environs and its camp, as it raides the houses and expels its residents from it, seizes it, destroys, blows and burns property and destroys the infrastructure, amid intimidation and intimidation of citizens, with the aim of displacing them.
