The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the UK declaration regarding amending its regulations for sanctions against Syria, including lifting restrictions on 12 Syrian entities.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry said – in a statement reported by the Syrian News Agency (SANA) Thursday that this step is a constructive step towards normalizing international relations and supporting the urgent needs of the Syrian people in the wake of a 14 -year destroyer.

She added: The lifting of sanctions on major sectors such as financial services and energy production, in addition to removing restrictions from the Syrian Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior and national media institutions, will directly contribute to improving the conditions of the Syrian people, and these measures will also allow us to initiate vital reforms in our public sectors and security services in addition to attracting the necessary investments to rebuild the infrastructure and the Syrian national economy.
