Saudi Arabia prohibits holders of all visas except for the Hajj from entering Mecca – the seventh day

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority called on the airlines to put clear guidance boards at the climbing and alert platforms for travelers coming to the Kingdom that it is not allowed for carriers of Umrah visas, tourism, or visiting to conduct Umrah, entering Makkah Al -Mukarramah, or staying in it except for those with a valid Hajj visa.

The authority confirmed the airlines to examine the documents and tickets for travelers coming to King Abdulaziz International Airport and check them and not to pass the travelers on the “transit” visas coming from the countries of the category “A” who do not have tickets and confirmed travel dates for another country, taking into account the obligation on the condition of “2” for those who do not carry a pilgrimage or entry permit.

On Tuesday, the Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the application of a fine of up to 50 thousand riyals, imprisonment for a period of (six months), and the deportation of the expatriate who is late to leave after the expiration of the entry visa granted to him.

The Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of adhering to Hajj and Umrah regulations and instructions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
