Hamas: Gaza faces a severe shortage of basic life supplies – the seventh day

Hamas said that the Gaza Strip is facing an unprecedented catastrophe with 50 days since the full and comprehensive closure of the crossings.

The movement stated in a statement that the Gaza Strip is facing a severe shortage of basic life requirements such as food, water, fuel and medicine.

She explained that the severe shortage of life requirements in the sector pushes the population towards a famine and a health disaster that exacerbates day by day.

She added that the siege applied to more than two million and a quarter of a million people and the use of starvation as a war crime weapon, stressing that the continuation of the siege on the Gaza Strip is a political, moral and human failure for the international system and its institutions.

The movement renewed its demand for the international community to pressure Netanyahu and its government to open the crossings and bring supplies to Gaza, as the movement called on Arab and Islamic governments and peoples and the world’s free to work in every way to break the siege on our people in Gaza.
