The Israeli Prime Minister’s office attacked the statement of the head of the Shin Bet Security Agency, Ronin Bar, before the Supreme Court of Justice earlier in the day, describing it as “full of lies.”

The Prime Minister’s office blamed a bar for not waking the Prime Minister or the Minister of Defense before dawn on October 7, 2023, and said, according to the Times of Israel newspaper: “If he did so, the attacks would have faded,” adding that Bar called the military secretary of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu only at 6:13 am, that is, 3 hours after receiving alleged intelligence information about the imminent attack.
The office added: “Bar confirms the insistence of all government ministers on his catastrophic failure on October 7. This is the reason alone requires his dismissal.”
Earlier today, the Supreme Court bar was that he was sacked by Netanyahu’s expectations to be loyal to him. He said he had been informed that he needed to obey Netanyahu, not the Supreme Court if a constitutional crisis occurred.
