Jordan condemns the occupation police assault on Christians and restricting their arrival at the Resurrection Church – the seventh day

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the strongest phrases of the Israeli occupation police against Christians and restricting their arrival at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the city of Jerusalem, on the occasion of “Saturday of light”.

The spokesperson for the ministry confirmed Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al -Qudah, the Kingdom’s condemnation and absolute rejection of the Israeli -legal, restricted procedures against Christians, and preventing them from free access to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher to perform their religious rituals, which come in conjunction with the repeated incursions of the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque/ the Noble Sanctuary, in an attempt to impose new facts in the city of Jerusalem, including the temporal and spatial division.

In a statement today, Monday, the Ambassador called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, obligating Israel to stop its violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, respecting the historical and legal situation in it, stopping the Israeli aggression on Gaza immediately and the dangerous escalation in the West Bank, and meeting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with sovereignty over their national soil on the basis of the two -state solution.
