The Prime Minister of Iraq and the Lebanese President confirm the depth of relations between Baghdad and Beirut – the seventh day

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani, and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, affirmed today, Thursday, the depth of relations between Iraq and Lebanon.

This came during a phone call between them, during which they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them for the common interest, according to a statement by the media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister reported by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious).

According to the statement, President Aoun affirmed Lebanon’s pride and appreciation for the position of Iraq, the Iraqi military establishment, and the initial positions of the Iraqi government supporting the Lebanese people in the face of various crises and challenges.

The mutual emphasized also the depth of relations between Iraq and Lebanon, the durability of the historical, cultural and social ties that link the two peoples, and the importance of joint coordination in the face of the various challenges that the region is going through.

On the other hand, Al -Sudani stressed, during his reception today, Lebanese MP Qablan Qablan, on the commitment to support the sovereignty of Lebanon and its territorial integrity.

According to a statement of the media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, the Lebanese MP to the “Sudanese” delivered a message from the Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, which included expressing his thanks to Iraq for its positions and its role in supporting the Lebanese people.

The Sudanese stressed, during the meeting, the importance of strengthening the bonds of the relationship between the two countries in various fields, stressing the commitment to support the sovereignty of Lebanon and its territorial integrity, and work to unify efforts and coordination on the launch of the process of reconstruction of its regions and enhancing its security and stability.

For his part, “Qablan” affirmed his country’s pride in historical relations with Iraq, appreciating its role in providing support and assistance to Lebanon, as well as the vital role of Iraq as a basic pillar in preserving stability in the region.
