The two sides touched on the recent announcement of the launch of negotiations on the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the UAE and the European Union, and the importance of this step in achieving a qualitative shift in cooperation relations between the two sides, especially in the economic, commercial and investment sectors.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, and the delegation of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, also discussed all the current developments in the region, and ways to enhance the efforts made to consolidate the pillars of regional security and stability.
