Earlier today, about 150 Israeli soldiers who served in the Golani Brigade signed a petition calling for the return of the prisoners detained in the Gaza Strip, even if the price was immediately stopping the war.
The Golani Brigade is one of the combat elite units in the Israeli army, and has participated in most of the wars that the occupation army has fought since its foundation.
During the last 48 hours, thousands of military Israelis have joined reserves and civilians from different sectors to the message signed by hundreds of reserve soldiers in the Air Force, including pilots, and called for the war to stop the prisoners.
Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 said that the Chief of Staff of the Army, Eyal Zamir, held a session to contain the crisis of the protest messages signed by the reserve soldiers, noting that the army is aware of the potential damage and deep connotations of the growing expansion of the phenomenon of protest among the ranks of the soldiers.
According to the Israeli channel, the Chief of Staff intends to prevent the reserve soldiers present in the actual service from participating in any protest to prevent the use of the military establishment’s symbols of political targets.

In turn, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the army, said that he decided to allocate the coming days to hold talks with soldiers signed on the petitions calling for the end of the war.
The newspaper quoted military sources as saying that “the army estimates that the differences are present and feared the expansion of the protests,” stressing that the army is trying to contain the protest between soldiers and reduce damage.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted an informed source that Israel is ready to make some concessions on the Gaza agreement, but not at the expense of preventing the destruction of Hamas.
For its part, the Israeli Prime Minister said that Netanyahu informed the families of prisoners in Gaza that extensive negotiations are currently taking place to return their children.
Netanyahu had sought to describe this move and the messages of protest that he refused to serve the army, and he vowed and ministers of his government to separate the signers of these petitions from the reserve soldiers, considering that they strengthen the enemies during the wartime and described them as rebellion and disobedience
