The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is the “worst” most likely since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
The UN office warned that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached its worst cases since the war erupted 18 months ago, noting that the passage of about a month and a half without allowing any supplies to enter through the crossings represents the longest stoppage period for supply so far.

On the second of last March, the Israeli occupation prevented the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and closed all the crossings leading to the Strip, as it resumed the extermination against the Palestinian people on the 18th of the same month, after a two -month truce.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gazaoun Saar said that the aid has become “the main source of Hamas’s revenues in Gaza,” he said.

For his part, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs indicated that due to the closure of the crossings, in addition to the restrictions imposed inside Gaza, the lack of supplies forced the authorities to rationalize and reduce delivery operations.
