A spokesman for the Houthi armed forces in Yemen, Yahya Sari, announced that the Yemeni air defenses managed to shoot down an American plane while carrying out hostile tasks in Yemeni airspace.
Sari, in a televised statement broadcast on the “X” platform, said, “In the context of confronting the American aggression against our country, support and support for the Palestinian people and its Mujahideen, our air defenses succeeded in shooting down an anti-American” M-9 “plane while carrying out hostile tasks in the atmosphere of Hajjah Governorate.”

Sari explained that “the plane was shot down with a home -made air missile,” noting that “this is the fourth plane that our air defenses managed to shoot down within two weeks and nineteen during the promised battle of Al -Fateh and the Holy Jihad as a chain of transmission of Gaza.”
Sari stressed that the military capabilities of the Houthis were not affected by the successive American attacks, adding that “the American aggression against our country will only achieve more disappointment and failure.”
In his statement, Sari stressed that the armed forces of the Houthi group “will not stop their reference operations for the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression on Gaza stopped and lifted the siege on it.”
On Sunday, the Houthis announced that they fired two ballistic missiles towards Ben Gurion Airport and a military goal in Israel, while the Israeli army announced its interception of a missile fired from Yemen.
The Houthis said in a statement that they carried out a “qualitative military operation, with two ballistic missiles, one of which is an audio excess of Palestine 2, targeting the Sudan Mika Base in the occupied East Ashdod area and the other missile, the type of Zulfiqar targeting Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa area.”
