The President of the Jordanian representatives confirms the importance of doubling the efforts to stop the war on Gaza and the introduction of aid – the seventh day

The Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Ahmed Al -Safadi, stressed the importance of doubling the efforts to stop the war on the Gaza Strip and introduce urgent aid, appreciating Japan’s support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees “UNRWA”.

This came during a meeting of the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, at the headquarters of the Council today, Sunday, the ambassadors of Japan and Australia in two separate meetings, where ways to enhance joint relations, especially parliamentary relations, were discussed.

During the meeting with the Japanese ambassador, Al -Safadi said, “The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, believes in the importance of strengthening joint relations and the vital role of Japan,” expressing the great appreciation of the role of Japan supporting Jordan in various fields.

For his part, the Japanese ambassador, Asari Hediki, explained, “King Abdullah II is the voice of moderation and always calls for peace, and he must be listened to the conversation that he offers for the sake of peace and security of the region,” stressing that Jordan is a strong and reliable partner for his country.

He affirmed the continued support of Japan for Jordan, and that there are now existing programs with many civil society organizations in the Kingdom, saying that “his country feels pain what is going on in Gaza, and it supports the two -state solution and believes in all the steps that Jordan provides for the security and stability of the region, stopping the war and introducing aid to Gaza.”

During the meeting with the Australian ambassador, Al -Safadi said, “Jordan and Australia have a relationship of friendship and cooperation that extends for 100 years, which are relations based on common interests and must work to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.”

For his part, Australian Ambassador Bernard Lynch affirmed his country’s support for Jordan’s efforts to enhance security and stability in the region, and the need to stop the shooting in Gaza, explaining the importance of strengthening the Jordanian joint Australian cooperation; Service for a long history of friendship between the two countries.

In the context, the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament met with the Iraqi ambassador to the Kingdom, Omar Ahmed Karim Al -Barzanji; To discuss ways to enhance common relationships, especially parliamentary ones.

Al -Safadi said, “Brothers and love will remain a title for Jordanian -Iraqi relations, and that the two countries and strong ties that bring together we are obligated to build on the interests of the two countries and the two peoples.”

He added, “Jordan, led by King Abdullah II, is always keen to enhance various aspects of cooperation with the brothers in Iraq,” stressing the importance of joint parliamentary coordination in the service of the issues of the two countries and the issues of our main nation.

He explained that the king expressed clearly and steadily in more than one position that Jordan is looking into the importance of Iraq’s pivotal role in the region, and we have a keenness in the various institutions and authorities of the state on strong relations with Iraq, which calls for mutual and continuous efforts to always search for the many participants.

In turn, the ambassador of Iraq stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation, especially in parliamentary affairs, and enhancing various aspects of economic cooperation and joint cultural and educational exchange, saying, “The relations of the two countries are strong and solid, and we consider Jordan the strong and strong dam of Iraq.”
