Saudi Arabia and Iraq are discussing strengthening bilateral relations and developments in the region – the seventh day

Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Iraqi counterpart, Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al -Abbasi, discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations in the military and defensive fields, and the developments of events in the region.

This came in a phone call received by Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz from Iraqi Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Saeed Al -Abbasi, during which they reviewed the development of brotherly relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them in the military and defensive field.

The Saudi Minister of Defense wrote in his account on the “X” platform: “I received a phone call from my brother His Excellency the Iraqi Minister of Defense Thabet Muhammad Al -Abbasi.”

He added: “We reviewed the development of brotherly relations between our two brotherly countries, ways to enhance them in the military and defensive field, and discussed the developments of events in the region and the efforts made towards it in a way that contributes to achieving security and stability.”

The Saudi Defense Minister discussed with his American counterpart Beit Higseth, in a telephone conversation, last Monday evening, the regional developments and the efforts made towards it, and the vision of the two countries to support the security and stability of the region and the world.

The two sides also reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the prospects for cooperation in the defensive field.
