The two presidents praised the deep bilateral relations and the close cooperation between Somalia and Uganda, expressing their welcome to launch the mission of the new “Aussom” mission in Somalia, stressing the need to accelerate international support to implement the Somali security development plan and enhance the capabilities of the Somali National Army, according to the Somali News Agency (Souna).
The two presidents also discussed the defense cooperation agreement signed between the two countries, and the institutions concerned with accelerating their implementation.
