The UN Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) Philip Lazari said that Israel uses food and humanitarian aid a weapon in Gaza.
This came in a post on the “X” platform, published by the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”, where Lazarini valued the situation in Gaza with the occupation authorities continuing its aggression 18 months … based on the fact that hunger and despair are spreading in the Gaza Strip with the use of the occupation food and humanitarian aid as a weapon.
He pointed out that Israel has imposed a suffocating siege on Gaza for more than a month and continues to prevent the entry of basic goods, such as food, medicine and fuel, which he described as collective punishment.
He pointed out that the citizens in Gaza are very tired because they are trapped in a small area, and demanded that the siege be lifted and the entry of humanitarian aid.
On March 2, the Israeli occupation authorities closed the Gaza Strip crossings in front of the entry of humanitarian, relief and medical aid to the Strip, causing an unprecedented deterioration in the humanitarian situation.
