The occupation expands its operations in the Shujaiya district and military battle advanced in Gaza with a new wave of displacement – the seventh day

The Israeli occupation army announced, on Friday morning, the expansion of its land operation in the Shujaiya district, east of Gaza City, saying that its forces began working in the area during the past hours “with the aim of deepening control and expanding the defensive insurance area.”

In a statement, the army added that its forces destroyed infrastructure, including a command and control complex of Hamas.

The statement indicated that the army “allowed the residents to evacuate the area,” stressing that it “continues its operations in the Gaza Strip.”

Eyewitnesses said that the battle of tanks and military vehicles had actually advanced east of the Shujaiya neighborhood, amid the movement of the population to the center and west of Gaza City.

Parts of the neighborhood witnessed a wide wave of displacement, on Thursday, after the Israeli occupation army made urgent warnings to the neighborhood residents and the neighboring neighborhoods, asking them to evacuate the area immediately.

The Israeli army demanded that these areas be evacuated and moved to the well -known shelter centers in the west of Gaza City.

These warnings forced thousands of families to go out in a new displacement, amid scenes that were repeated across the Gaza Strip.
