Thousands of worshipers flocked to the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron to perform the last Friday prayers of the blessed month of Ramadan, despite the strict measures imposed by the Israeli occupation forces, and preventing them from handing over the entire campus to Islamic endowments.
The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” quoted the director of the Ibrahimi Mosque Moataz Abu Sinina as saying: The occupation forces continued to prevent them from handing the entire campus to Islamic endowments, in a flagrant violation of freedom of worship and the right of Muslims to practice their religious rituals.
Abu Sinina added that these measures come within the attempts of the occupation to empty the sanctuary from its people and its workers in it, calling on the Palestinian people and the families of the city of Hebron to intensify the presence and Rabat in the sanctuary, and its reconstruction at all times and when.
