Al -Safadi: Jordanian efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza not interrupted – the seventh day

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Jordanian Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al -Safadi, confirmed that the Jordanian efforts to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza, and the Israeli illegal measures targeting the West Bank were not interrupted.

Al -Safadi said, in front of the House of Representatives, today, Monday, that “what happened was that Israel violated the exchange agreement that was accomplished by Egyptian -American American efforts, and resumed its aggression on Gaza, after it stopped the introduction of humanitarian and medical aid and other aid to Gaza since the beginning of this month, and this constituted a clear violation of the exchange agreement.”

Al -Safadi continued, “It was part of the exchange agreement an Egyptian -Qatari operating room to monitor the commitment to the agreement, and this room has recorded more than 900 Israeli breaches of the truce over the past 40 or 50 days, this included military operations that led to the rise of more than 70 gas, and this included not allowing the introduction of caravans and tents that * constitute a necessity in order to house the invaders, after that Israel destroyed more than 70 % of Gaza, houses, schools, streets, mosques and churches to others, and stopped providing Gaza with electricity, which is now suffering from a large water scarcity as a result of the bombing of water supply stations, etc.

Al -Safadi reiterated that the Jordanian effort led by King Abdullah II did not stop in order to obligate Israel to stop its aggression against Gaza, and obligate it to allow the entry of humanitarian aid; “Because the lack of introduction of humanitarian aid in addition to the violation of the exchange agreement is a flagrant violation of international law, and the use of food and medicine as a weapon is a war crime condemned by international law.”

Al -Safadi explained, “These efforts included all the influential decision -making centers in the world, and we work within one Arab Islamic effort, and we met in Cairo yesterday evening, the Arab -Islamic Committee assigned to the Arab -Islamic Summit to work to stop the aggression on Gaza, and we met with the Supreme Representative of Foreign Policy in * the European Union, and we presented our views, our proposals and our fixed positions that Israel’s stopping of aggression is a priority, and that the international community is a priority It moves effectively in order to allow the introduction of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and we presented the Egyptian initiative adopted by the Arab Summit and adopted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the level of foreign ministers, and it has become an Arab proposal that proves that we are able to rebuild Gaza without displacing its people from it.

On the issue of displacement, Al -Safadi renewed that the refusal of the displacement is a fixed Jordanian position that did not budge and will not budge, “the king has confirmed it more than once, and the Jordanian policy is fixed at work, not only to inform the whole world that we reject this displacement, but also by explaining the seriousness of this displacement on the region, and its security and stability.”

Al -Safadi stressed that the priority is to confirm the Palestinian people on its soil, and he said, “Because what is going on on the ground is an Israeli effort to push the Palestinians out of their homeland, and when we talk about the displacement we stopped using forced displacement, because there may be those who believe that forced displacement is only to put people in cars or buses and pushing them outside their homeland, but forced displacement * is the creation of the environment that does not allow life that does not allow life that does not. This is what Israel is doing. “

Al -Safadi pointed out that Jordan’s efforts in this context are continuing both with the United States of America, with the European Union, and the influential capitals in the world, and that this effort is part of a common Arab Islamic effort.

Al -Safadi indicated that the Arab Islamic Ministerial Committee concerned with Gaza will re -communicate with many influential capitals; In order to strip what Israel is doing, to expose the crimes it committed, and to push towards stopping the aggression, and returning to the exchange agreement, which was an opportunity to stop the aggression, and to move forward towards ending the escalation in the entire region.

“The priority now is to stop the aggression, and the way to this is a return to the agreement that was achieved with guarantees from the brokers who worked on it, but unfortunately Israel did not abide and do not abide, and it continues to escalate in the region,” Safadi said.

He added, “We see the escalation against Lebanon, and we see the bombing and killing of the Lebanese over the past days, and we see the dangerous escalation in the West Bank, as well as we see its aggression on the Syrian soil, without any reason, as the new Syrian government was clearly said that it wanted to focus on building its country, rebuilding its country, and that it is committed to the 1974 agreement.”

Al -Safadi stressed that Jordan, led by King Abdullah II, is continuing to make every effort to stop the aggression on Gaza, introduce aid, then launch a real, effective, effective path; To meet the right of the Palestinian people to their independent state, on their national soil, a single way to end the conflict, and to achieve security and stability in the region.
