The Qatari Shura Council supports the outputs of the Gaza Reconstruction Summit and rejects attempts to displace the Palestinians – the seventh day

The Shura Council welcomed Qatar; During his session today, Monday, headed by Hassan bin Abdullah Al -Ghanem, the President of the Council, with the results of the Arab Summit in Cairo.

The Council praised the participation of Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, with the leaders of the sisterly Arab countries, in the unusual Arab summit held last Tuesday in Cairo, pointing out that it came at a very important time to discuss the serious developments that the Palestinian issue is going through. According to the Qatar News Agency.

The Shura Council noted that the Emir of the country in this summit reflects the steadfast commitment of the State of Qatar to defend the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and its keenness to support Arab and international efforts aimed at stopping the aggression on the Gaza Strip, and ensuring the provision of support for the reconstruction of the sector, in a manner that reduces the suffering of the Palestinian brothers.

The Council appreciated the outputs of the summit, which emphasized the unified Arab position in supporting the Palestinian issue, and rejecting any attempts to displace or demographic change, in addition to emphasizing the need to achieve a fair and permanent peace on the basis of the two -state solution, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of the fourth of June 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

After that, Nayef bin Muhammad Al Mahmoud, Secretary -General of the Shura Council, recited the agenda of the session, and the minutes of the previous session were ratified.
