The “Syrian Observatory” reveals the outcome of the bloody confrontations in the Sahel region – the seventh day

Today, Sunday, the Syrian Observatory reported that the outcome of the confrontations in the Syrian coast has increased to more than 1,000 people.

The Syrian Observatory said that the outcome of the human losses in the events of the Syrian coast until Saturday evening amounted to 1018 people.

The observatory explained that among the dead 745 civilians were liquidated in sectarian massacres.

The observatory confirmed the fall of 125 public security, the elements of the Ministry of Defense and the Serpene forces.

Among the dead, according to the observatory, is 148 militants from the remnants of the former regime, the rebels and their loyalists from the coast.

The Director of the Public Security Department in Lattakia Governorate, Lt. Col. Mustafa Kanifati, said on Saturday that “everyone who proves his involvement in the attacks will be held accountable, whether from the remnants of the regime or from the thieves and the tampering with security and we will take all legal measures against them.”

Kanifati added: “We confirm our full commitment to protecting civil peace and ensuring the security of all citizens, and there will be no negligence in this principle.”

He continued: “We will not allow strife or targeting any component of the Syrian people, and the rule of law is the only guarantor to achieve justice.”

“We call on citizens not to be drawn from any inflammatory calls, and leave the matter to the competent institutions. The security services are continuing to pursue the killers and the remnants of the former Assad regime, and will deal firmly with all who threaten security and stability.”

The clashes erupted since Thursday, in the Syrian coastal area after a series of attacks and ambushes that targeted the transitional government forces and blamed the supporters and remnants of former President Bashar al -Assad.
