Damascus welcomes the decision of the Islamic Cooperation Organization to resume Syria’s membership – the seventh day

Today, Saturday, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the decision of the Islamic Cooperation Organization to restore Syria’s membership after 13 years of comment, stressing that it represents an important step towards Syria’s return to the regional and international societies.

In a statement reported by the Syrian News Agency (SANA) – the ministry renewed the government’s steadfast commitment to the principles of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and preparing to work alongside the countries of the Islamic world to rebuild Syria and strengthen the region on the basis of common values ​​of justice, peace and cooperation.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry expressed aspiration to build a future in which the Syrian people regain their place due to the nations, touched by a stronger and more united Islamic world.
