He pointed out that the absence of insurance constitutes a great concern for the pilgrims who need to ensure medical care during their journey, especially in light of the current conditions, stressing that the old town in Jerusalem suffers from a clear economic recession, as most stores are still closed, and the tourist movement is almost non -existent, pointing out that the absence of pilgrims and visitors directly affects the owners of shops and the local community that depends mainly on religious tourism in securing ways Live.

The Secretary of the Holy Resurrection Church explained that the hopes are still commenting on the improvement of security conditions, and the return of airlines and maritime navigation to work normally, which gives pilgrims the opportunity to reach Jerusalem and participate in the glorious Easter celebrations.

He stressed that Jerusalem, with its religious and historical greatness, remains a unique spiritual destination, continuing: “We hope that the caravans of pilgrims will return to it soon, so that the glorious Easter will remain an occasion that brings the believers from all over the world in the vastness of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, as the highest meanings of faith and peace are manifested.”
