Jassim Muhammad Al -Badawi, Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, stressed that the Cooperation Council stands alongside Syria in all efforts and measures it takes to preserve the security and stability of its people.
Al -Badawi stressed what was stated in the closing statement issued by the Ministerial Council in its 163rd session, in condemnation of all violence aimed at destabilizing Syria, and affirming the position of the fixed Cooperation Council rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, whatever its motives and causes.
He expressed his aspirations that security, stability and prosperity would prevail in Syria, under the rule of law and justice, and to achieve the hopes of the Syrian people in a brighter and prosperous future.
