The occupation continues to close the Gaza crossings for the sixth consecutive day .. UN experts: Israel resumes the militarization

On Thursday, US President Donald Trump’s envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkeov, said on Thursday that Egypt’s plan to manage and reconstruct the Gaza Strip is a “first -to -intention” first step “from the Egyptian side.

“I have just finished reading the Egyptian proposal. It contains many attractive features. We need more discussion about it, but it is a first good -intentioned step on the part of the Egyptians.”

The emergency Arab summit on Palestine in Cairo, which was held last Tuesday, adopted Egypt’s plan related to the Gaza Administration and the reconstruction of the Strip, and announced its support for the Palestinian decision to form a committee to manage the sector for a transitional period under the umbrella of the Palestinian government.

In a related context, Wittouf said that the Hamas movement will not be part of the rule of the Gaza Strip, indicating that any action against it will be on the part of Israel, and with the support of the American administration.

Regarding the second stage of the Gaza Agreement, he said: “This is what we discuss, whether looking at the extension of the first stage, or discussing the second stage. For me, I do not really care what we call, what matters, will we reach a solution? Will we reach a peace agreement? Will we return all these hostages to their homes, which is the goal of the Trump administration, and this will require some reasonable thinking.”

He warned that any discussions with Hamas were held by the US special envoy for hostage affairs Adam Bouhler, who is a delegate to do so, explaining that she was “represented in a conversation to see if anything can be achieved. Unfortunately, what we discovered is that Hamas told us that she would deal with the matter in a certain way, but it did not.”

In Gaza, the Israeli occupation forces continue to close the “Karam Abu Salem” crossing in the southeast of the Gaza Strip, and prevent the entry of humanitarian aid and goods to the Strip for the sixth consecutive day.

The Israeli occupation army is still continuing to close the Karam Abu Salem crossing and prevent humanitarian aid from entering Gaza for the sixth day.

This comes after the decision of the Israeli occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, to stop all goods and supplies to the Gaza Strip starting last Sunday.

In turn, a spokesman for the Hamasa movement, Abdul Latif Al -Qanoua, confirmed, on Friday, that the tightening of the siege on the Gaza Strip, the closure of the crossings for the sixth day, and the prevention of the introduction of aid, one of the forms of extermination that did not stop against the Palestinian people.

Hamas spokesman said in a press statement that the policy of starvation and collective punishment pursued by the occupation represents a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and a war crime that requires the world to stop and hold its perpetrators accountable.

At midnight on Saturday, the first stage of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, which lasted 42 days, ended, and Israel refused to enter the second stage.

For its part, a group of more than thirty independent experts from the United Nations announced that Israel resumes “the militarization of famine” in the Gaza Strip, “by taking a decision to violate” the ceasefire agreement and suspending it to enter humanitarian aid.

In a statement, experts affiliated with the Human Rights Council, but they are not speaking in his name, said that the decision is a flagrant violation of international law, and they added: “We are concerned about the decision of Israel to suspend all goods and supplies to the Gaza Strip, including vital humanitarian aid.”

“Israel, as the occupied force, is always obligated to ensure the provision of sufficient food, medical supplies and other relief services,” added the experts and among them the United Nations Special Rapporteur of the Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanizi.

“By deliberately cut off vital supplies, including those related to sexual and reproductive health and assistive devices for persons with disabilities, Israel again uses aid as a weapon.”

In the West Bank, the Israeli aggression entered the city of Tulkarm and its camp, its 40th day, and the 27th day of Nur Shams camp, amid a field escalation, in conjunction with extensive military reinforcements, raids and the demolition of many houses.

The official Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” said that the occupation forces pushed military reinforcements towards the city and its camps, and deployed their mechanisms and infantry teams in the streets and neighborhoods, especially in the southern, western regions and in the middle of the market, in addition to the perimeter and entrances of the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, in conjunction with the shooting and sound and optical bombs, and hearing a huge explosion.

She added that the mechanisms of the occupation and heavy bulldozers continue to be in front of houses and residential buildings on Nablus Street, which links the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, where the soldiers stop and searched vehicles, and check the citizens ’identities and detain them to interrogate.

In Tel Aviv, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his government ministers, approved the recommendation of the military establishment to allow a limited number of Muslim worshipers from the West Bank to enter the Al -Aqsa Mosque on Fridays during the month of Ramadan, according to similar measures for the past year.

Under the decision, men who are 55 years old and over, and women over 50 years, in addition to children up to 12 years of age, will be allowed to obtain a predecessor permit and pass the security evaluation.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that it is not a powers and the occupation authorities have no right to restrict the entry of citizens to pray in the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque under any argument or justification.

In a statement issued, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry considered that determining the age of worshipers is a flagrant violation of the obligations of the occupation existing force, a violation of international law and the principle of the right to freedom of movement and reaching places of worship.
