Sudan welcomes the statement of the Security Council rejecting the establishment of a parallel authority in the country – the seventh day

The Sudanese government welcomed the statement of the UN Security Council refusing to sign a charter aimed at establishing a parallel authority in the country, considering this in support of peace and stability efforts and preserving Sudan’s sovereignty and unity.

The Minister of Culture and Information, the Sudanese government’s official spokesman, Khaled Ali Al-Esir, stressed in a statement reported by the Sudanese News Agency (Sona)- the government’s appreciation for the Security Council’s interest in the situation in Sudan, and the price of the Council’s support for efforts to achieve peace and stability.

The affordable renewed the government’s commitment to solutions to end the war and preserve the unity of Sudan and the integrity of its lands, noting the importance of international cooperation in supporting those affected by the war and facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid.
