Gaza’s health spokesman: The health and humanitarian situation is very difficult to continue to close the crossings – the seventh day

A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Khalil Al -Duqran, stressed that the health and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is very difficult with the continued closure of the Israeli occupation of the crossings, and the prevention of the entry of medical and relief aid.

The health spokesman in Gaza said – in an intervention to the Cairo News Channel today, Wednesday, “The closure of the occupation of the crossings increases and exacerbates the deterioration of the health situation in the sector and is a ruling on death on thousands of patients, injured and children because of the lack of health care and a sentence of death on the health system that is mainly collapsed as a result of sabotaging and destroying the intentional occupation during the war on the sector.”

He added that since the announcement of the ceasefire and the occupation has been still in the implementation of the human protocol contained in the ceasefire agreement, which increased the exacerbation of the humanitarian situation in the sector, especially with regard to the exit of patients and the injured; To receive treatment abroad, where those who went out for treatment outside Gaza did not exceed 25% of the percentage supposed to be left.

He stressed the need to pressure the occupation to implement the humanitarian part of the ceasefire agreement, as a large number of patients died due to the failure to go out for treatment outside Gaza, noting that the occupation’s use of the distillation policy in aid increases the situation in humanitarian and health.

It is noteworthy that the repercussions of the Israeli occupation closure of the crossings in the Gaza Strip on the efforts of relief organizations in the ground are very bad, as there are sufficient quantities of supplies to distribute them in Gaza and humanitarian organizations are trying to distribute the strawberry inventory to the weakest groups of the residents of the Strip.

UNICEF warned that the results of freezing aid will be catastrophic, while the International Salvation Organization stressed the need to resume the arrival of aid to Gaza immediately, and the Norwegian Refugee Council said that Gaza children are dying due to the cold, the lack of medical equipment and the aid of the first stage of the agreement that did not stop to meet the needs.
