The New York Times highlights the approval of the Arab countries on Egypt’s plan on the Gaza Strip – the seventh day

The American New York Times highlighted the response of the Arab countries to the proposal of US President Donald Trump to expel the Palestinians from Gaza and turn it into a naval tourist destination, by providing their own vision, which calls for maintaining the population in the Strip, rebuilding and integrating it into a future Palestinian state, but without Hamas participating in the government.

The newspaper stated, in the context of a report published today, Wednesday, that the features of the Arab proposal appeared during an emergency summit held in Cairo, where the Arab countries agreed to an Egyptian plan to spend $ 53 billion to rebuild Gaza without including the displacement of Palestinians from the Strip.

She added that the Arab leaders began to develop their own vision of the Palestinians in the Strip, in an attempt to confront Trump’s call to “purify” Gaza .. saying: This move comes at a time when pressure on Arab leaders is increasing to develop a practical plan to rebuild, secure and manage Gaza, amid a state of tension over the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

The American newspaper pointed out that one of the most complicated issues is the issue of disarmament of Hamas, which is still the most prominent military force in Gaza after 15 months of war.
