Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planning personal meetings with the new Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara.
“No, yet, no,” said Peskov in response to a question from the Russian agency “TASS” in this regard.
It is noteworthy that Ahmed Al -Shara has assumed the presidency in Syria since January 29.
The first phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the new Syrian president last February 12, where the normalization of the situation in Syria and the issues of bilateral relations between Moscow and Damascus were discussed.
