Dr. Abdul Hakim Al -Qarala, Professor of Political Science at Jordan University, said that the timing of the Arab emergency summit in Cairo is of great importance in light of many international and regional developments, especially with regard to the recent proposal of US President Donald Trump, which revolves around the issue of displacement.
Al -Qarala added, in a statement to “The Seventh Day”, that the displacement means the liquidation of the Palestinian issue, and therefore this proposal was rejected, and the bet was therefore Egypt, its vision and its alternative plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip without the displacement of its residents, which is supported by Jordan and will support it.

He considered that the Palestinian issue is going through a dangerous and severe turn that requires strengthening joint Arab action to build a unified position that neutralizes the plans adopted by the extreme right in Israel and the victory of the justice of the Palestinian issue.
He considered that any success regarding the Arab plan that Egypt drafted is subject to a sustainable stop for violence and opening a political horizon to revive the peace process, with Arab compatibility and integration and dissolution of variations to adopt a tight plan that contains logical, objective and realistic solutions.
