The King of Jordan meets the Iraqi and Lebanese presidents on the sidelines of the Cairo Summit – the seventh day

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, held two separate meetings with the Iraqi President Dr. Abdullatif Rashid, and the Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, on the sidelines of the extraordinary Arab summit hosted by Egypt today /Tuesday.

The Jordanian Royal Court stated in a statement that the two meetings dealt with regional developments, especially the efforts made to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza, resume the delivery of humanitarian aid, and the reconstruction of Gaza without the displacement of its residents, in addition to the dangerous escalation in the West Bank.

During the meeting of the Jordanian monarch with the Iraqi President, he stressed the depth of Jordanian -Iraqi historical relations, and the keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation in various fields, as well as emphasizing coordination between the two countries towards issues of common concern, and in a way that enhances the security and stability of the region.

In the meeting of King Abdullah II with the Lebanese President, the two leaders discussed ways to consolidate the strong brotherly relations that bring together the two brotherly countries, and to enhance cooperation between them, as well as Jordan’s support for Lebanon in preserving its security and stability.
