Algeria’s foreign ministers, Tunisia and Libya held a meeting to discuss arrangements related to the upcoming triple summit in Tripoli.
The summit will bring together Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun, Tunisian President Qais Saeed, and the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Al -Mennafi.

The meeting, which included Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Ataf, his Tunisian counterpart, Mohamed Ali Al -Mutti, and the Libyan Minister in charge of conducting the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taher Al -Baour, in Cairo, came before the start of the emergency Arab summit, where the meeting discussed the organizational aspects of the next summit, in addition to following up the work of the technical committees in charge of preparing for them, and reviewing their proposals to ensure the success of the meeting.

This summit comes as an extension of previous meetings, the most prominent of which was the summit held in Algeria on March 4, 2024, where the three leaders agreed to hold a joint meeting every three months, followed by a founding meeting in Tunisia during April 2024, resulted in the “Carthage Document”, which included a number of decisions, including forming joint work teams to enhance border security and confront irregular migration, along with the launch of economic projects Joint development
