Saudi Tourism: Preventing reservations and housing in Makkah to holders of all visas except for Hajj – the seventh day

The Ministry of Tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed all travel and tourism services offices, and tourism hospitality facilities of all kinds, not to complete the reservations or housing operations in Makkah for the coming or residents of all visas holders, with the exception of those carrying a valid Hajj visa or a regular permit to enter for the purpose of work or housing during the Hajj season, starting from 1 Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH corresponding to April 29, 2025 AD until The end of the season, confirming that regular penalties will be applied against violators.

This guidance comes in conjunction with the arrangements and measures announced by the Ministry of Interior aimed at preserving the safety of the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, and enabling them to perform the rituals of Hajj with security and reassurance, and that all kinds of visas of all kinds, with the exception of the arrivals with a valid pilgrimage, must not stay in the city of Makkah and leave it from Tuesday 1 Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH corresponding to April 29.

The Ministry affirmed that all tourism hospitality facilities and electronic reservation platforms must fully adhere to the prevention of reservation or housing for the groups covered in a statement of the Ministry of Interior during the specified period, within the joint and complementary efforts between government agencies to ensure a safe and organized Hajj season.

The Ministry of Tourism also stressed the need for all hospitality service providers in the city of Makkah Al -Mukarramah and electronic platforms to the controls regulating the Hajj season in 1446 AH, and cooperation with the relevant authorities, stressing that violating these instructions exposes installations and individuals to regular penalties.
