The head of the Jordanian notables of an American delegation: We reject any settlements to resolve the Palestinian issue – the seventh day

The Speaker of the Jordanian Senate Faisal Al -Fayez affirmed that Jordan rejected any settlements, to resolve the Palestinian issue at the expense of Jordan, its national constants and its supreme interests, and this fixed position was emphasized by King Abdullah II, by saying: “No to the alternative homeland or resettlement, and the Hashemite guardianship of Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem is a red line.”

This came during the Al -Fayez meeting today, Wednesday, a delegation of the assistants of the members of the Senate and Representatives in the US Congress, in the presence of the decision of the Arab and International Affairs Committee and the expatriates in Al -Ayed.

The meeting dealt with the Jordanian -American relations and the current conditions in the region, where Al -Fayez stressed the strength of relations between the two countries, and Jordan’s keenness to develop and build on them in various fields; To serve common interests and enhance bilateral relations, and enables more economic and investment partnerships.

Al -Fayez referred to the comprehensive reform process that Jordan is conducting with its political, economic and administrative dimensions, as well as presented the economic and security challenges facing Jordan, due to the political and security conflicts in the region and its surroundings.

And the price of the American aid provided to Jordan, to enable it to overcome its economic challenges, stressing the importance of reviewing the customs duties recently imposed by the American administration on Jordan, in addition to the need to return from the decision to stop the aid provided by the American Development Agency for Jordan, in the areas of health, education and empowering women and youth, in order to enable it to face economic challenges, and continue to work for peace and stability in the region.

Al -Fayez said that Jordan is a pivotal country in the region and the title of stability in it, and to preserve its security and its stability in it for all, and the verse of tampering with its security will have serious repercussions on the general region and the interests of all.

He presented the continuous efforts made by King Abdullah II, in order to replace stability in the region, his endeavors in order to restore the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the return of humanitarian aid to the sector, stressing that the return of security and stability to the region will only be achieved by establishing the Palestinian state, according to the two -state solution and international legitimacy decisions.
