Algeria and Rwanda are looking to strengthen military cooperation – the seventh day

The delegated minister of the Algerian Minister of Defense, Chief of Staff of the Army in Algeria, Lieutenant General Shazrikha, discussed during his meeting, on Tuesday, at the Army Staff headquarters, with the Chief of Defense Staff of Rwanda, Lieutenant General Mubarak Muganga, who is on a work visit to Algeria at the head of a high -level military delegation, opportunities for bilateral military cooperation, as well as ways to develop and enhance coordination in matters of common concern.

The two parties dealt with, according to the Algerian News Agency, the security challenges at the international level, as well as the African continent in particular, in addition to exchanging views on various current issues.

The Algerian Chief of Staff praised the level reached by bilateral relations between the two countries, especially by exchanging visits between the officials of the two countries.
He said in this regard: “The Algerian-Rawandian relations have formed since the independence of our two countries as a model of solidarity between the people of our continent, and an example of political coordination in international forums, to defend Africa and its basic issues.”

He added: “As our relations in recent years witnessed a new dynamic, especially after the visit of the Rwandan Defense Force Chief of Defense Force to Algeria, during the month of September 2022, as well as the visit I made to Kigali in February 2024.”

For his part, Lieutenant General Mubarak Moganga praised the strong will that he touched by the Algerian side in strengthening cooperation and consultations between the two countries in areas of common concern, which contributes to enhancing security and stability in the African continent.
