The Jordanian monarch emphasizes the importance of France’s role in achieving peace in the region according to the two -state solution – the seventh day

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between Jordan and France, and expanding cooperation in all fields.

This came during the reception of the Jordanian monarch today, Tuesday, a delegation from the French Senate, which includes representatives of the French -Jordanian friendship group, and the Communication, Thinking, Monitoring and Solidarity Group with East and Minorities in the Middle East and the Kurds.

And King Abdullah II, during the meeting, which was held at the Husayniyah Palace in the presence of Prince Al -Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Jordanian Crown Prince, appreciated France’s support for Jordan in implementing a number of projects in the water and development sectors, pointing to the importance of France’s role in promoting dialogue between peoples, and its efforts in achieving peace in the region according to the two -state solution.
The meeting touched on the efforts made to end the war on Gaza, resume the delivery of aid, and mobilize support for the Gaza reconstruction plan without the displacement of its residents, and to stop the escalation in the West Bank and violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

The Jordanian monarch, in the meeting, which was attended by Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, the chief advisor of the King for Religious and Cultural Affairs, his personal envoy, confirmed Jordan’s support for Syria and Lebanon’s security, stability and leadership.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Affairs of Jordanian Expatriates Ayman Al -Safadi, Director of the King’s Office, Eng. Alaa Al -Batayneh, and the French Ambassador to Jordan, Alexei, Le Coor Granzon.
