Israel: The second commander of the unit 4400 was killed in Hezbollah for using Beirut Airport to transport weapons – the seventh day

The Israeli army announced the killing of Hassan Ali Nasr, Deputy Commander of the “Unit 4400” in Hezbollah.

“Nasr worked to smuggle combat and money into Lebanon to reconstruct Hezbollah’s military capabilities.”

He also added that in the context of this, he pushed with Iranian authorities to transfer combat and money to Lebanon also through Beirut International Airport.

He said, “Nasr was associated with relations with the airport workers working in secret for Hezbollah, and they help in smuggling.”

He also pointed out that he “supervised deals to sell combat means of weapons smugglers on the Syrian -Lebanese border. He was also involved in the management of Hezbollah’s armaments more broadly.”
Although a ceasefire agreement between the party and Israel was reached by American mediation after a confrontation for more than a year, Israel is still launching raids on Lebanese regions, especially in the south and eastern country, and it confirms that it will not allow the party to work to restore its capabilities after the war.

Note that the agreement stipulated the endowment of hostilities between the two parties, and the entire Israeli army’s withdrawal from the south, as well as the withdrawal of Hezbollah from the area south of the Litani River and the dismantling of its military built, in exchange for the strengthening of the army and the United Nations temporary force (UNIFIL) its spread near the border with Israel.

However, Israel has not yet withdrawn from 5 strategic points in the south, supervised on both sides of the border, salinity to survive indefinitely.
