The Vatican Pope calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza – the seventh day

Pope Francis reiterated his call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the release of the hostages, and allowing humanitarian aid to enter the Strip.

This came in the speech of the traditional Pope of Easter, which was delivered by one of the Pope’s assistant, on Sunday, while the Pope was sitting on his wheelchair on the balcony of the Church of St. Peter.

“I think about the people of Gaza, where the terrible conflict continues to cause death and destruction and create a tragic and unfortunate humanitarian situation.”

The Vatican Pope called on the international community to provide assistance to the Palestinian people, who are looking for a future of peace.

The Pope’s prayer extended to the Christian denominations in Lebanon and Syria, which he said is currently witnessing an accurate transfer in its history.

In his speech to Yemen, who said that he suffers from one of the most dangerous humanitarian crises in the world due to the war, calling on all those concerned to find a solution through a constructive dialogue.

With regard to the war in Ukraine, the Pope urged all the parties concerned to continue their efforts towards achieving a just and permanent peace.
