The governorate said – in a statement reported by the Palestinian News Agency – that the violations come within a systematic series of religious targeting and racial discrimination, as it was preceded by weeks that prevented tens of thousands of Muslim worshipers from reaching Jerusalem and the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan.
Al -Quds Governorate emphasized that these practices constitute a flagrant violation of the most basic principles of international law, especially the Fourth Geneva Convention and the relevant United Nations resolutions that guarantee freedom of worship and prohibit prejudice to religious sanctities or changing the status quo.
She also expressed her disapproval and surprise at the suspicious international silence, calling on the international community, human rights organizations and international powers to deviate from this suspicious silence, and to curb this barbaric aggression, and to confront these racist attacks that do not exclude anyone.
