Muscat hosts the third round of American -Iranian discussions within the days of the seventh day

A spokesman for the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the next third round of the American -Iranian discussions will be held in Muscat during the next few days.

He stressed that the dialogue and clear communication are the only way to achieve a reliable understanding and agreement that serves the interest of all parties at the regional and international levels.

The Omani Foreign Ministry spokesman also confirmed that today’s meetings in Rome, between Iran’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Sayyid Abbas Araqji, and the American presidential envoy Steve Witkev, through Badr bin Hamad Al -Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, resulted in the parties to agree to move to the next stage of the discussions aimed at reaching a permanent and binding agreement that guarantees Iran completely free of nuclear weapons and lifted the sanctions completely with them, with Maintaining its right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

In turn; Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ismail Baqi, confirmed that; The leadership of the Sultanate of Oman continues completely and effectively, as was the case in the previous round.

He explained that the mechanism of conducting the second round of Iranian -American negotiations in Rome “is completely identical to the first round hosted by Muscat.”

He stated that the second round of the talks took place at the residence of the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Rome, in the presence of Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al -Busaidi, who plays the role of the mediator.
