The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) has announced that the suffocating blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on the Gaza Strip for nearly 7 weeks is the most severe since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.

This came in a report published by the UN Agency today, Friday, on the current situation in the Gaza Strip, which has been exposed to the aggression of the occupation for more than a year and a half.
UNRWA explained that 420,000 citizens have been displaced again in the Gaza Strip since last March 18 due to the renewal of the Israeli aggression, according to the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”.

The agency confirmed that the failure of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the continuous blockade that Israel has imposed for about 7 weeks is more severe than the first period after October 7, 2023.
She stated that as a result of the siege, the vital humanitarian supplies in Gaza, including food, fuel, medical aid and vaccines for children, are rapidly dedicated. Noting that many civilians have lost their lives due to the occupation bombing since the breach of the ceasefire agreement on March 18.
