Al -Fasher continues steadfastness .. The Sudanese army announces the outcome of the last confrontations with rapid support – the seventh day

The Sudanese army said in a statement that there are 62 civilians, including 15 children, who were killed, while 75 were wounded in a random bombing of the Rapid Support Forces in different parts of Al -Fasher, the capital of the state of North Darfur, in the west of the country.

The army added that, and the forces allied with him, they responded to an attack to quickly support on the southeast and northeast of the city of El Fasher, and inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment.

For his part, a military source told the media that the Rapid Support Forces bombed heavy artillery today, Abu Shuk camp for the displaced, northwest of Al -Fasher.

The Rapid Support Forces have been besieged for about a year, and they have repeatedly tried to storm them under the cover of the bombing, but the army and the forces allied with it failed all attempts.

Last week, the Rapid Support Forces stormed the Zamzam camp, which is about 12 km from Al -Fasher, and the United Nations and relief organizations spoke about the death of more than 500 civilians between the dead and wounded, including 10 of the International Relief Organization employees, and the displacement of about 400,000 people after storming the camp.

On the other hand, a spokesman for the general coordinator of the camps for the displaced and refugees in Darfur told Al -Jazeera that a large number of displaced people of Zamzam camp in Al -Fasher were killed during the displacement journey.

The spokesman added that the displaced people were subjected to severe violations, and they suffered from thirst and hunger, noting that hundreds of displaced children need food, shelter and health care.

He pointed to the continued flow of the displaced from the Zamzam camp in Al -Fasher to a long area, which the number of those arriving at it until Wednesday reached 281 displaced people.

The Rapid Support Forces faced accusations from home and abroad of serious violations against civilians in Darfur and other areas during the war that has been taking place two years ago, but they deny them strongly, and charges similar charges to their opponents.

Two years ago, Sudan has witnessed a conflict between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, killing tens of thousands and displacing more than 14 million inside and outside the country.

Recently, the army was able to expel the Rapid Support Forces from Khartoum and from most of the Omdurman area after it was expelled before the state of the island in the center of the country.
