The special deterrence force in Tripoli announces the completion of more than 800 cases during the year 2024 – the seventh day

The Special Deterrence Force in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, revealed the total issues that it completed during 2024, as it announced that its number exceeded 800 cases, which touched public security and social peace in the country.

According to the statistic issued by the agency, the total number of cases reached 866 cases, which included various crimes, most notably murder cases, drug trafficking, irregular migration, forgery, and assault on public money.

The cases of drug trafficking and prohibited substances topped with 221 cases, while premeditated murders and attacks ranked second with 131 cases.

The statistic also documented 122 cases related to theft, embezzlement and fraud, in addition to 107 cases that affect the freedoms of individuals, and 66 cases of crimes of manufacturing or possession of narcotic substances.

The cases of misdemeanors against the entity recorded 50 cases, while the number of cases of forgery in official papers, seals, certificates, and currencies reached about 33 cases.

28 cases related to the possession or manufacture of weapons, 26 cases related to illegal immigration, and 24 cases were described as crimes of employees in public sectors departments.

With regard to moral crimes, the number of cases reached 21, while the statistics recorded 17 cases of crimes committed against the judiciary.

As for issues related to prejudice to honor and religion, and infringement of the sanctity of the dead, six issues were recorded for each classification.

The statistic also monitored only two cases of family crimes, public safety, and public security.

The deterrent force emphasized that these statistics reflect the size of the efforts made to face security challenges and control various crimes of various forms, within the framework of seeking to protect society and enhance its stability.
