The Palestinian Council of Ministers condemned the ongoing incursions of settlers of the Al -Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, accompanied by extremist ministers and under strict protection from the occupation forces, in conjunction with the decision to close the campus in front of Muslim worshipers from yesterday until this evening.

The Council considered that the ongoing incursions are a dangerous provocative step that is a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the holy places, and an extension of the occupation policies aimed at Judaizing the sanctities, in a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law and international humanitarian law, especially the Fourth Geneva Convention that prohibits prejudice to the freedom of worship or change the status quo in religious places under occupation.

The Council warned of the danger of new settlement projects in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, the most recent of which is Israeli settlement plans on the lands of citizens in the village of Masha in Salfit Governorate and the village of Sineria in Qalqilya Governorate, stressing the need to intensify diplomatic and legal moves to defend the rights of the Palestinian people in various international forums.
