Saudi Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al -Jalajel stressed the depth of strategic relations between the Kingdom and France, noting that this firm partnership reflects a joint commitment to the advancement of global health and the face of health challenges.
This came on the sidelines of the work of the Saudi -French Business Council, which was held in the French capital, Paris, according to the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, on Tuesday.
He added that the discussions highlighted the aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in supporting innovation in the areas of biotechnology, as well as localizing the healthcare industry in a way that enhances flexibility and sustainability.
The forum also discussed the prospects for partnership between Saudi Arabia and France in the fields of digital health and advanced medical technologies, in order to enhance joint investment opportunities and keep pace with the aspirations of the two countries in developing the health sector and focused on enhancing economic cooperation in the vital sectors, while highlighting health care, biotechnology, and foreign and private investments, in support of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision goals.

The forum concluded by asserting the two sides the importance of strengthening economic partnerships and expanding the prospects for cooperation to achieve common interests and the future vision that brings together the two countries.
