The President of the Yemeni Command Council confirms the importance of exerting the maximum pressure on the Houthi militia – the seventh day

The head of the Yemeni Presidential Command Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al -Alimi, stressed the importance of exerting the maximum pressure on the Houthi militia.

This came during his reception today, Tuesday, to the European Parliament delegation headed by the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Parliament, David Mcalaster, where he reviewed the Yemeni developments, and at the forefront the international measures required to deal with the continued threats of the Houthi terrorist militias for international security and peace.

Al -Alimi praised the strong European Union’s commitment to stand by the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership, and to alleviate their humanitarian suffering through its estimated humanitarian and development interventions in various fields.
The President of the Yemeni Presidential Command Council presented the council’s vision and the government to work fruitful with the international community to end terrorist threats, starting with the redefinition of the Houthi militia as a permanent threat to regional and global security, stressing the council and the government’s keenness to develop the strategic partnership with the international community on all axes in order to create a common deterrent equation against the Houthi terrorist behavior, and forcing it to recognize the will of the Yemeni people, and international legitimacy as peace or war.

Al -Alimi reaffirmed that the end of the Houthi terrorist threat will not take place unless it is subjected to a strategic defeat that stripped it of its power resources, which requires investment at the present moment and mobilize all resources to support the Yemeni government to extend its full control over its national soil.
