The Sudan Doctors ’Network revealed that a force from the Rapid Support militia arrest 154 people, including 31 women and children, in extremely bad conditions in the Al -Salha area, south of Omdurman.
One of the survivors said that most of the detainees were arrested from a number of areas in Omdurman.
The doctors of Sudan considered that the process of arrest and forced detention against defenseless civilians and children and restrictions of freedoms is a violation that has been practicing rapid support against civilians who live in their control sites with unrealistic accusations to force their families to pay a tribute in exchange for their release or forced their families to get out of their homes and displace the army control sites to convert civilian areas into military sites, according to a statement issued by the network.
The Sudan Doctors ’Network condemned the forced arrests and displacement practiced by rapid support against defenseless civilians and the use of prisons and detention centers as sites to terrorize civilians and kill them, as it did with thousands of detainees in Khartoum, Al -Jazeera and other locations that they controlled, and demanded that they be released immediately and hold the Rapid Support Command full responsibility for their lives.
