Qatar and Indonesia expect a memorandum of understanding to launch a joint strategic dialogue – the seventh day

The State of Qatar and the Republic of Indonesia / Sunday / in Doha signed a memorandum of understanding to launch a strategic dialogue between the two countries, which represents a milestone in deepening bilateral relations.

The memorandum – which came on the sidelines of the official visit of Indonesian President Praboo Sobanto, signed to the State of Qatar – Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sugono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.

Qatar and Indonesia – in a joint statement issued on the launch of the strategic dialogue between them, broadcast by the Qatar News Agency (Qena) – that this dialogue confirms the strength of bilateral relations, and highlights opportunities with mutual benefit to deepen cooperation in areas of common concern; This represents a new chapter in the partnership between them.

According to the joint statement, the dialogue includes deepening cooperation in the areas of political cooperation in international and regional issues of common concern, strengthening security, defense and combating terrorism, and increasing economic cooperation, especially in the fields of trade and investment, as well as promoting cultural exchange, building cultural bridges, and consolidating ties between the two peoples.
