Israeli Chief of Staff: Return the hostages is a top priority – the seventh day

The Israeli occupation army said that the Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir confirmed in connection with the family of the soldier, Idan Alexander, that the hostages would be a top priority.

Violence and aggression from the Israeli occupation continues in the West Bank, with the demolitions, displacement and enforced displacement of the Palestinians in a number of regions, as well as targeting the shelters and schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works of Palestine Refugees “UNRWA” amid a blatant challenge to international law.

For his part, the United Nations Humanitarian Coordination Office (OCHA) pointed out that violence, destruction and displacement continued in many areas in the West Bank, and added that within only two weeks until the beginning of April nine Palestinians, including two children, were killed, and at least 130 others were wounded by the Israeli occupation forces.

During the same period, the office documented the demolition of more than 100 buildings throughout the West Bank because it did not obtain Israeli construction permits, which it is almost impossible to obtain. This led to the displacement of more than 120 Palestinians, most of them children, and affected more than 200 people.
