The Ambassador Al -Ansari pointed out – in a statement today, Sunday, that President Sisi’s visit to the State of Qatar, which is the third for the country, comes in a sensitive stage that the Middle East and the Arab world goes through, but the bilateral relations between the two countries witness more interdependence, meat and growth in all fields, especially political, economic and cultural.

He said that this visit keeps pace with the rapid and critical events that the region is exposed to, which needs coordination, discussion, consultation and exchange of visions regarding various international and regional issues, especially the Palestinian issue, pointing out that both countries feel regional and global challenges and deal with them with responsibility and sincerity.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt stressed that the visit of President Sisi gives a strong boost to the tireless and sincere Egyptian efforts in light of the wise leaderships and their pivotal role in negotiations and mediation to work to stop the Israeli aggression and stabilize the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and enter humanitarian, medical and shelter aid to the sector, as well as continuing joint efforts to coordinate with the American side in connection with the efforts of mediation, noting that The two countries participate in their unified positions towards Arab, regional and international issues.

He pointed out that the visit also represents an opportunity to consult on ways to create conditions for reconstruction in Gaza, and the success of the Cairo Conference for Early Recovery and Reconstruction, in a manner that ensures that the Palestinians remain on their lands.

He went on to say that “the visit reflects the desire of the two sides to continue joint coordination to work to reduce the escalation in the region, and to spare the region to slip into more tensions, and the need for joint work between the two sides to reach a political settlement that guarantees the establishment of stability in the region, through the establishment of the Palestinian state on the borders of the fourth of June 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital, as a final solution to the conflict.”

Al -Ansari stressed that the visit of President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi to the State of Qatar is the culmination of the progress made in the work of the fifth session of the Joint High Committee between the State of Qatar and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt in 2024 to push the prospects for political coordination and investment and economic cooperation between the two countries, and to discuss investment prospects between the two sides, where the Qatari -Egyptian relations witnessed an development in those aspects.

He pointed out that cooperation in the cultural field between the two countries is also on its way to more development and growth, indicating that this year witnessed a diversity in cultural exchange through the activities of the Egyptian Cultural Week in Doha, as well as the announcement of the nomination of the State of Qatar with an honor guest at the Cairo International Fair for the year 2027, as well as the ongoing efforts to hold a Qatari cultural week in Cairo during this year, in addition to holding many events coming in the cultural and artistic field.

He said that the presence of a large number of the Egyptian community in Qatar helps to increase the cultural and social interconnection between the two countries, as the Egyptian community is one of the largest communities residing in Qatar, and its number is estimated at about 200 thousand people according to estimates in 2024, which in turn contributes to supporting the Qatari economy, and participating in development and development operations in various fields and achieving Qatar National Vision 2030, along with the efforts of their Qatari brothers.

With regard to the societal initiatives of the embassy, ​​he said that it emerges from the policy of the State of Qatar to support sustainable development and in the context of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation, including support for health, education and economic empowerment sectors in support of social development in sister Egypt, in coordination with the Egyptian government in the fields of charitable and development work, up to integrated societies that enjoy peace, security and stability, and this is the philosophy of Qatari external support, and based on the common Arab culture between Egypt and Qatar Its pillars are an interest in social development by supporting the groups of society, including children, disabled and orphans, and providing all forms of support to those in need, to eliminate poverty and destitution, draw a smile in the souls and cultivate hope for a better future.
