The Iranian Foreign Minister presents Tehran’s positions on his Omani counterpart to transfer to the American party – the seventh day

Abbas Araqji, the Iranian Foreign Minister, who arrived in Muscat, met today, Saturday, at the head of a delegation to participate in indirect negotiations with the United States of America on the nuclear file and the lifting of unfair and illegal sanctions, his Omani counterpart Bader Al -Busaidi upon his arrival in the Omani capital. According to Tasnim News Agency.

Badr Al -Busaidi briefed his Iranian counterpart on the arrangements and procedures that were prepared to hold indirect negotiations prescribed for this day.

In the context of indirect negotiations, the Iranian Foreign Minister presented the axes and positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Omani Foreign Minister, to transfer them to the American side.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said: “Our goal is to reach a fair agreement from an equal site, and if the opposite party enters a similar spirit, there is an opportunity to reach a preliminary understanding that can open the way for a comprehensive negotiating path.”

The Iranian delegation is scheduled to start, by the Omani side, on Saturday afternoon, indirect talks with the American delegation in Oman.

On the other hand, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his happiness with the strong and established relations between the two countries in various fields, praising the position of the Sultanate of Oman responsible on regional issues and developments. The hosting of Muscat also considered indirect negotiations between Iran and America as evidence of this positive approach, thanking the Omani Foreign Minister for his great interest in this file.

For his part, the Omani Foreign Minister welcomed the negotiations it hosted today, and he also described the bilateral relations between Oman and Iran as distinguished relations, expressing his appreciation to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its selection as a procedure as the headquarters of these important negotiations.

An Araqji advisor said that it is unlikely to reach a result in the negotiations with Washington at this stage, adding that whether Muscat negotiations fail or reach a result, “the victor will be the people and the Iranian regime.”
